Restoring Home
Wikipedia:
A home is a place where a person, family, or group of people live together. A home usually acts as a place to sleep and store personal property, and contains sanitary facilities and a means of preparing food.
Introduction
A home can be anywhere you live. When you have created a home it is a place that whoever is living there belongs. You know you are home when you take a deep breath, lower your shoulders and know you are accepted. At home you can find contentment and love. As you walk through the rooms of our book, it is our hope that we will help you restore timeless traditions and values that a home can bring to anyone who comes into your home.

Entryway
Wikipedia:
An entryway is a hall in a house that is located at the front entrance of the house. An entryway usually has linoleum or tile flooring rather than carpet. An entryway also often has a coat closet. Many houses do not have entryways, and in many houses the front door leads straight into the living room or some other room in the house. The majority of houses with entryways are located in the United Kingdom, as most modern American houses lack them.
It starts with your front door and ends there, for anyone in your home. Your door should be welcoming, clean and inviting. How open is your front door? I always look forward to visiting my friend Becky because she is so open and welcoming. She is one of those people who you look forward to seeing because she is so open and welcoming. When anyone talks to Becky you know you are the most important person to her right now. Her face lights up, her smile is broad and she is genuinely glad to see you. When anyone comes to my front door I try to emulated Becky’s actions and let them know how happy I am to see them.
Think of other places that you feel welcomed too. What is at their door? Are you comfortable on your front porch? Day past, the front porch was used as a place to sit and greet your neighbors every evening. What a wonderful tradition to restore, sit, visit with a friends and family and say good evening to those walking by.
When you pass through the door is your entryway you want an uncluttered open space. Maybe hooks for coats to be hung up on, a basket for shoes or boots to be shed. There should be a focal point, a place or picture your eye is drawn too, something that sets the tone for a welcoming home telling everyone who come into your entry way, they belong.
